a design we came up with years ago, and a color scheme
we played around with for a while. We worked together
with one of the Northeast's best bass fisherman on this
pattern, and its why its called the "Giant Killer" (background)
Fished at the right time this is truly a Giant Killer.
His influence is also present in the color scheme of the MMR
(foreground) squid as well. One of BTG's favorite lures.

not sure what information we can add that you
don't already know. Pencils work, end of story.

|
probably one of the most popular lures
made. Swimmers have become a mainstay in almost all surf
casters bags. This size is perfect for the back bay as
well as the surf, it has a bigger profile to duplicate
that ever present 5" to 7" bait that frequents our
waters. There is almost nothing you can't duplicate with
this plug, from Bunker to Herring to Porgies to Eels to
Mullet to Weakfish….
|
what can we say, these are the big
brother of the smaller swimmer with a slightly different
profile and a longer length these really shine in big
water, especially on those days when the surf is just
right. Don't hesitate to use these when the surf is
churning and let them tumble especially off the top of a
wave. When bigger bait is present this plug is deadly.
|
another totally different plug its got
slightly more wiggle and roll than our large swimmer and
by simply bending the front eye loop either up or down
you can get this plug to stay on top or just below the
surface. Ask "Crazy Alberto" about this plug. Alberto
had a lot of input with this, and a few other paint
schemes. I don't think you could get a better opinion on
what will and will not work, than from CA. 90% of his
time is spent plugging the salt for large fish.

are so versatile, and are so simple to fish.

are probably one of the most fun and effective
ways to catch fish. Fish really cant resist the sight of
a plug flopping, darting, sliding, and splashing on the
surface. You can cover a decent amount of water with
these plugs, and there is really no wrong way to
retrieve this plug. These have easily taken precedence
over a pencil or a popper in most guys surf bags.
|
Most plugs are available in a variety of colors and patterns,
except for the MMR and Giant Killer squid darters and the Eely
swimmers. All our Siwash hooks are hand tied with the best material
available. Most have 2,3,4 or even 5 colors in them.
